Stacy Gall has been the Director of Library Services for the OhioHealth system for five years (2012-present). She has an MLS from Kent State University and 20+ years of experience in the health sciences libraries, including as a solo hospital librarian, hospital library supervisor, and director of library services for a large health system. Stacy is a member of the OhioHealth Sciences Library Association (OHSLA), the Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MLA), MLA, and the Hospital Libraries Section of MLA. Stacy has experience with all aspects of hospital librarianship, including management, budgeting, supporting EBP initiatives, outreach, and user education. Mary Pat Harnegie has been the Manager of Library Services for South Pointe Hospital for seven years (2010-present). She also serves as a medical librarian at the Main Campus of the Cleveland Clinic. She has an MLS from Kent State University and 17+ years of experience in the health sciences libraries, including as a solo hospital librarian, collections development librarian, and contract clinical campus library for Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Cleveland Campus. Heidi Beke-Harrigan has worked with nursing, physical therapy and health sciences faculty and students for most of her library career, with a special emphasis on preparing graduate students for research. She is currently adjunct teaching systematic reviews and working as part of the continuing education team at OhioNET, while pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Medical Writing and Editing. Professional memberships include MLA, Midwest MLA (Public Library Advisory Group) American Medical Writer's Association (AMWA), OHSLA (co-webmaster and MLA Midwest CE planning committee), ALAO (Board member-at-Large elect) and the Ohio Library Council (OLC). She is also an alumni of Library Leadership Ohio. As a former academic library director she has experience with management, budgeting, outreach, instruction and technical services. Her current research interests include medical writing in plain language, consumer health information and metadata. When she's not in a library you'll find her teaching yoga. Megan Nunemaker is the Corporate Librarian for Covance, a contract research organization (CRO). In this role, she manages all collection development activities for the Covance Library, and is responsible for supporting end users and promoting Library services. Prior to joining Covance, she had positions at the University of Virginia's Claude Moore Health Sciences Library and at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. Angie Tucker has been the Medical Librarian for the Memorial Health System (Marietta, OH) for 21 years. As a solo librarian, Angie is responsible for all library services at the main campus as well as providing services to all of the system’s satellite campuses. Angie completed her Master’s in Library and Information Science through Kent State University (2013) and on track to complete a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology through West Virginia University in December 2017. Her professional interests include information literacy, health literacy, education/continuing education/professional development and community outreach. Angie is active in MLA (Member of MLA Education Annual Programming Committee), MLA Midwest (Chair, Professional Practice Committee), OHSLA (President Elect 2017 –2018 and Chair, Programming Committee – 2018 Midwest Chapter of MLA/OHSLA Conference), AHIP provisional member, Medical Library Association Disaster Information Specialization – Advanced, Medical Library Association Consumer Health Information Specialization – Advanced. Ellen Franks has been the solo librarian at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Library since December 2024. Before that, she was a Medical Librarian at Akron Children's Hospital for 16 years (2008). Ellen earned her MLIS from Kent State University in 2001. Ellen helps with hospital librarianship, ie. borrowing books, searching, articles, and She was also a teacher before becoming a librarian. Ellen is a member of the Ohio Health Sciences Library Association (OHSLA)(Scholarship Chair), Midwest Chapter of the Medical Library Association (MLA), Ellen also has AHIP and CHIS status through MLA.
